ABS Atlantic Bearing Services closed a successful week at AISTech 2026 in Pittsburgh, one of the leading meeting points for the steel industry in North America.
The event provided an excellent opportunity to reconnect with customers, partners, and industry professionals, while sharing ABS capabilities and application-driven solutions for critical equipment across the steel sector.
Throughout the event, our team — Alejandro Pardiñas, Pablo Rodríguez, Aníbal Arrascue, John Pense, and Scott Heath — welcomed visitors at Booth 2745 and shared solutions designed to address operational and technical challenges across steel mills and manufacturing processes.
Supported by our manufacturing brands — ACB Custom Bearings, AEC Engineering Chains, and MGS Gears & Gearboxes — we presented engineered solutions for bearings, industrial chains, power transmission components, and gearboxes designed for demanding applications within the steel industry.
Over the coming weeks, we look forward to continuing many of the conversations initiated during the event. Our intention is to remain close to a sector that is strategically important both for ABS and for North American industry as a whole, continuing to support its operations, reliability, and long-term development.
It was especially valuable to experience firsthand how the steel industry is adapting to ongoing market changes, facing new manufacturing demands, operational challenges, and increasing requirements in terms of maintenance and productivity. The adaptability, technical expertise, and forward-looking mindset present throughout AISTech reinforce our confidence that the industry will continue moving forward with strength in the years ahead, and ABS will continue to be there, supporting that evolution as a trusted industrial and engineering partner.
Thank you to everyone who visited our booth in Pittsburgh and took the time to share ideas, projects, and perspectives on the future of the industry. We would also like to thank AIST for the excellent organization of the event and for continuing to foster a key platform for the development and advancement of the steel industry.
