The company establishes its operations base in Spain, from where it will manage its global product and service offering

In recent years, Spain has become a European benchmark in wind energy. Today it is the world’s third-largest exporter of wind turbines, and its companies own more than 10% of the world’s wind power capacity.

With a clear objective of business expansion and weaving alliances with major energy players worldwide, our company has decided to take the leap and become present in the European market. We seek to consolidate and strengthen our agreements with leading global manufacturers, operators, and suppliers, through a comprehensive offer of maintenance, repair, and repowering of wind turbines and the supply of the necessary components.

Our company ABS Wind has approved relocating its operations center and headquarters to Spain. From now on, ABS Wind’s global product and service offering for the wind energy sector will be managed from there.

For Nelson Carrodeguas, global director of ABS Wind, “Spain has become a pole of attraction for large companies and organizations linked to the wind sector, possibly the largest concentration in Europe. This new strategic location is a definitive nod to our global customers; it will enable our company to improve its productivity and will be essential in the implementation of our logistics model.”

ABS Wind continues to focus on its international implementation, confirming its global and integrative strategic vision with a local presence in all the countries where it operates; consolidating its commitment to position itself as a worldwide partner of the sector’s leaders.
