During the Annual Meeting of the Motion + Power Manufacturers Alliance (MPMA), Alejandro Pardiñas, CEO and co-founder of ABS Atlantic Bearing Services, was appointed Treasurer of the organization, one of the alliance’s key leadership positions representing the North American motion and power transmission industry.
The new Board of Directors, led by President Jennifer Blackford, marks a new chapter for MPMA following the historic merger of AGMA and ABMA. During the meeting, the contribution of outgoing President Matt Croson was also recognized for his role in the integration of both organizations and his leadership in strengthening the global presence of the industry.
Alejandro Pardiñas, who was recognized as “Executive of the Year” by the Spain-US Chamber of Commerce in 2024, was already part of the first Board of Directors established after the creation of MPMA. His new role further reinforces ABS’s growing presence within the alliance and reflects the company’s long-term commitment to the technical and institutional development of the sector.
Over the past 25 years, ABS has evolved from a company founded in Miami into a global engineering and industrial solutions group with operations in more than 15 countries across four continents. Through ABS Wind and industrial brands such as ACB Custom Bearings, AEC Engineering Chains, and MGS Gears & Gearboxes, the company delivers engineering, manufacturing, maintenance, and power transmission solutions to strategic industries worldwide.
