The rubber industry is a sector that requires high-precision and reliable machinery to produce high-quality products that meet market demands.
Through our brand ACB, we have been designing and manufacturing trusted components for years that are used in various production processes, both for this industry and for other industrial applications.
ABS, Atlantic Bearing operates an assembly and quality control center in Miami. There, each piece undergoes rigorous inspection and testing to ensure it meets the highest quality standards before being delivered to our clients.
Here we present images from one of our recent projects in the design and manufacture of mechanical components for Bridgestone, a world leader in tire technology and innovation.
This project involves a Special 9-inch ACME Screw Jack for vulcanizing presses at their factory in Costa Rica. A crucial component to ensure the production of high-quality rubber products that meet the required specifications.
The Special 9-inch ACME Screw Jack is used to secure the pieces of the mechanical vulcanizing presses. These presses represent the final stage through which the rubber is transformed, or vulcanized. Similar to an autoclave, they apply heat and pressure to the rubber to give it the required final shape. The Special 9- inch ACME Screw Jack adjusts and maintains the proper pressure between the molds, depending on the tire size, ensuring perfect vulcanization.
From ABS, we want to express our gratitude to our Director in Costa Rica, Manfred Marchena, and to our engineering department and technical operators, whose dedication and commitment are essential to ensure high-quality and reliable products for all our customers.
