Last Wednesday, February 23rd, ABS participated in the XV International Congress of Maintenance Engineering organized by ACIMA -Costa Rican Association of Maintenance Engineering- with the free webinar “Condition monitoring and sizing of mechanical drives through torque measurement” given by the ABS engineer and Business development manager Jose Ugalde.
The presentation, which we shared with you today, was very well received as it was of great interest to technicians and purchasing managers of any company in the heavy industry. ABS has a novel way of measuring Torque and Power at a specific point of any mechanical application, even if a motor does not drive it. This allows cost savings in selecting mechanical drives such as gearboxes, motors, etc., and more excellent reliability in operation.
