The Atlantic Bearing Services (ABS) Miami team recently enjoyed a cultural outing to the Patricia & Phillip Frost Art Museum at Florida International University (FIU), exploring the exhibition Modern Cuban Painters from Havana to New York Revisited.
The exhibition revisited a defining moment in 1944, when Cuban modern art gained international recognition through an exhibition at New York’s Museum of Modern Art (MoMA). Featuring works by influential artists such as Wifredo Lam, Amelia Peláez, and René Portocarrero, it offered an opportunity to explore an important chapter in Cuban art history and its international influence.
Beyond the exhibition, the visit provided an opportunity for team members to connect outside the workplace, discover more of Miami’s rich cultural heritage, and engage with a history that resonates with many within the ABS team.
ABS extends its appreciation to Florida International University and the Frost Art Museum for welcoming the team and making this cultural experience possible.
