When steel mills needed a bearing housing that could handle the thermal demands of continuous casting, off-the-shelf wasn’t an option.
So we built our own. From scratch. Through ACB, our custom bearing engineering brand.
We commissioned a heat transfer and fluid mechanics study in Germany. We designed the internal cooling channels. We built the molds. We validated the solution. And we engineered the ACB to be 100% interchangeable with the SKF SNL5xx Pillow Block Series, so customers get enhanced thermal performance with zero installation complexity.
The internal geometry does not appear on any standard drawing. That’s not an accident. It’s the result of real engineering investment and the kind of problem-solving that takes time to get right.
