In the context of the recent Meeting of the Motion + Power Manufacturers Alliance, the appointment of Jennifer Blackford as the new President, together with the new Board of Directors, marks a new chapter for the alliance.
We would like to take this opportunity to recognize the outstanding leadership of Matt Croson, a key figure behind the integration of AGMA and ABMA and, without doubt, the president with whom ABS has collaborated most closely in supporting and advancing the industry.
We also welcome Jennifer Blackford to her new role. Her track record and deep understanding of the industry position her strongly to lead MPMA in this next phase.
In this context, we are proud to share an important milestone for ABS. Our CEO, Alejandro Pardiñas—who was already part of the association’s inaugural Board of Directors, a historic achievement for our company—has been appointed Treasurer of MPMA, one of the most trusted and responsible positions within the organization.
This appointment reflects ABS’s consolidated and growing presence within the alliance, both at an institutional and technical level. Alejandro’s role in governance is complemented by the valuable contribution of Professor José Martínez Escanaverino in AGMA technical committees. At the same time, the next generation of the company is taking on an increasingly relevant role in working groups and technical sessions, actively contributing to the development of knowledge and best practices across the industry.
This milestone is a source of pride for our entire organization and reinforces ABS’s position as a global reference in the industry, with a growing voice and a strong commitment to its long-term development.
